We started this like any Monday, going to work. Then the fun began as we left for the airport at 11 am.
We had TSA pre check on our boarding passes, so we breezed through the security. And into the United Lounge.
After 3 cocktails and some nice food, it was time to board our flight.
Upon landing, MIA showed it's age and poor retrofitting. From our gate to the train to the remotely located Rental Car Center was about 3/4 mile.
Hertz let us down by not having our car ready and we were not alone. There were 15 people in line down at the Gold Counter.
This is not starting out to be a good trip.
